This replica of an 18th-century pirate blunderbuss is made from a combination of metal and resin to ensure its longevity. Considered a precursor of the shotgun, the barrel-loaded blunderbuss could be used to fire multiple pellets at once, which made it an ideal weapon for close-range battles such as naval skirmishes. It features a metal trigger and hammer, and a resin butt plate.
Even though the materials used in this replica make it unusable with real firearms, the trigger still makes a satisfying "click" sound when pulled. Therefore, the pistol would make a perfect addition to a re-enactment or stage show.
